The Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI) awarded $10,000 Pilot Funding for the project entitled Molecular mechanisms of arrestin activation. This money will go exclusively to Core Facility user fees at the METACyt Biomolecular NMR Facility.

GianCarlo Montiel was awarded a summer scholarship from the IU Minority Serving Institutions STEM Summer Scholarship Institute. His summer thesis was entitled "Generating a G protein-coupled receptor mutagenic library for assignment of 13C methyl-labeled amino acid NMR resonances". We hope GianCarlo enjoyed the experience!
